Say what you will about social media – but it’s been a lot of fun for me! I have used it to keep in contact with dozens of awesome and adventurous folks I met while traveling who always have suggestions for cool places to visit, great restaurants to try and so much more.
While in Cyprus two years ago (which I absolutely loved exploring solo for a month), I saw an “online friend” post on Facebook that he was headed to Paphos, Cyprus the next day. I messaged him telling him I was there and we should meet for a beer!
Palle Bo, a digital nomad from Denmark, and I were both speakers for an onlineDigital Nomads Beyond 50 conference the year before and stayed connected on Facebook and the ‘Gram since. I knew it would be enjoyable to connect IRL (In Real Life) so we made plans to meet.
After getting together for a drink that night and having such a great time, we decided to meet the next day to hike an iconic trail called the Kaledonia Falls near Pano Platres, Limassol. We hiked, chatted, laughed, shared travel stories, took pics and had a grand old time. Just this week, he put the interview into a podcast and messaged me to let me know it was available.
Palle Bo is The Radio Vagabond“, a former radio producer and co-owner of nearly 20 radio stations. He has been living a life of full-time travel since 2016 – and he’s on a quest to visit every country in the world!
Palle produces a travel podcast which can be found on Spotify or Apple …or wherever you get your podcasts – so make sure you follow him for travel tips, ideas, great stories and good laughs.
So without further ado…
Here’s the podcast for your listening pleasure!
